Jasper Wong Yankai

A Year 4 Student in the Humanities Programme, Jasper often finds himself precariously balancing his leisure time against the weight of his ever-growing pile of homework. His passions, other than labouring away for HCMAS, include sleeping, reading Wikipedia, and more sleeping. He hopes all delegates will enjoy the carefully curated selection of topics his exemplary chairs have worked hard on and thereby grow their horizons.

Soh Shao Ming

The need for a minimum of 6 hours of sleep has regrettably failed to ameliorate Shao Ming’s treacherous sleep schedule. As expected, coffee has served as his most beloved valentine’s partner, especially so in 2024. Apart from his leadership and academic pursuits, he loves his time spent at the track, where he pursues his interest in High Jump. A born hater of yappers, Shao Ming ends his introduction with this: Keep trying! !

David Low Junyi

Despite being in the Science stream, David had managed to find himself in the MUN circuit, and has since diverted some of his attention to current affairs. Like many of his peers, he faces a mounting workload and pressing commitments. Yet, his pursuit of his own personal endeavour never ceases: the search for his own identity. He hopes that HCMAS would be the platform for delegates to dip their toes into the chaos of diplomacy and gain a more profound understanding of ourselves and of civilization.

Lee Ke Yi Kendrick

A Year 4 student from the Humanities Programme, Kendrick often finds himself clocking consistently early nights of 1am whilst anticipating the foreboding workload crisis that awaits in the distance. On the rare occasions of liberty, you would either find him sleeping, vandalising Jasper’s worksheets and the whiteboards with mathematical equations, or relentlessly (and mindlessly) flailing a sword into battle in BedWars. Nevertheless, he hopes that delegates would be able to confidently plunge themselves into the throes of conflict and chaos, whilst deriving resolution and enjoyment in the process.

Deng Zhuoyan

Unlike others, Deng Zhuoyan frequently wishes for the ability and mental capacity to study until 1am. Unfortunately, the Valorant grind takes its toll. Therefore, he can mostly be found furiously rushing assignments in class, and on a lucky day, handing in most of them. Despite these horrible time management skills in his academic pursuit, he relishes in extra commitments he takes on, and has since spent much time pursuing his MUN-induced interest in matters of politics, economics and mainly philosophy, leading to an indulgence in Wikipedia articles but even lesser in studying. He hopes other delegates would be able to find MUNs as inspiring and life changing as he has, but all this on the basis of enjoying themselves.
