Topic 1
Question of Territorial Disputes in the South China Sea
For the territories in the South China Sea, a sea of questions still remains; disputed territories and a series of aggressive actions and escalations have brought conflict and war to the region, and the world’s doorstep. Together, as one united body, delegates are expected to come up with solutions to bring peace and stability back to the South China Sea - or maybe, just maybe, not.

In recent years, the world has seen a boom in the illegal drug trade, with drug busts and drug overdoses alike skyrocketing. ASEAN nations have not been spared by this sudden and drastic boom which has caught us by surprise. ASEAN and its people have suffered substantially. ASEAN’s fragile sense of security has been eroded - drugs have wreaked havoc on society and the accompanying violence has scarred millions. ASEAN can and will continue to suffer if no action is taken. This will be the last chance for delegates to make a u-turn on the alarming trend of the rapid expansion of the illicit drug trade and its detrimental effects on society’s fabric.
